Toys with tradition
The German SIKU brand toys have a long-standing tradition, already a century old without a few years. And that says something itself. This family business is managed by the fourth generation and has a worldwide reputation. In many families, they are a symbol of childhood for all generations – for children, their parents and grandparents.
Early 1921
The history of this company began as early as 1921. The basis of today's Sieper Group was founded by Richard Sieper, and the object of production at that time was utility goods such as cutlery, ashtrays and others. As a pioneer of the time, he started the development of thermoplastic products. In 1950, the brand was registered in its current form as Siku, and at the toy fair they were placed on the front lines. Their favorite was the children's fire truck, and the range of toys continued to expand over the following years.
Toys for the whole world
Nowadays, the Siku brand is very widespread and employs around 850 people worldwide. Sieper mainly offers mechanical and remote-controlled toy models . The toys are very believable , elaborated to the smallest detail and produced in various scales. They are of high quality, robust and have a large number of game elements that will entertain both young and older members of the family.
From the very beginning, the company's headquarters have been in the German city of Ludenscheid, where development and production, design creation and the main sale of products take place. Other branches and production plants are in Poland, China and France. Siku toys are exported all over the world, but they are best known in the Benelux countries, France, Poland, Great Britain and Scandinavia.
Quality and safety
Siku toys are made of very high quality materials and are a combination of metal and plastic components. This combination guarantees the toys robustness and durability, and they fit perfectly in children's hands during play. The toys are really believable and, thanks to the use of the highest quality materials, they do not have to be used only for playing in the children's room, but can handle real outdoor conditions without difficulty.
