Our customers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia often ask us about Zetor tractors. Are you also planning to produce some Zetor models?
It is true that we do not have any Zetor tractor models in our portfolio at the moment. Whether this will change in the future, we cannot reveal at the moment. But we know very well that Zetor tractors are very widespread, especially in Eastern Europe.
There were not so many agricultural machines among the new products this year. Do you plan to focus more on agricultural machinery in the coming years?
We have certain priorities in the development of our new products every year. Such as vehicles and machines for construction, for agriculture, for the municipal sector, etc. In 2018, for example, John Deere RX and Case tractor models were introduced in the agricultural sector. For 2019, we then focused on developing themed kits in our Bworld series. So our focus changes from year to year. However, we always strive to keep our range attractive and balanced.
Another model not in the range that customers are interested in is the bus, are you planning one?
Yes, of course we have already thought about this model as well, but we cannot reveal whether the bus will be produced.
How long does it take to develop such a model?
If it is a large and complex model, then the development time takes about 15 months. For a simpler vehicle, the time frame is about 12 months from the first development step to mass production.
Now we know how long it takes to develop a model. What about the number of people involved in the development of the model?
Basic model development employs one to two developers. With mold design, the number then increases by another 4 employees, so that up to 6 people are involved in the actual development of a model.
Can you tell our fans what they can look forward to in the next year?
As I have already stated, of course we cannot reveal our new developments as this is a trade secret. However, we will be adding to and expanding our overall production program next year.
What has been the best-selling model historically? A bestseller?
It was the Fendt 309 LS tractor from the 1970s and it was not only a bestseller, but it was also the cornerstone that gave birth to the successful and functional BRUDER-Profi series.
And finally, what are the most popular current models?
Today, vehicles from the emergency system, such as firefighters or police, are in great demand. In the tractor sector, the 3000 series tractors are still at the top.
